In Memoriam John J. Fegan

	It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the sudden unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, John J. Fegan. John was Vice President in the Retail Leasing Group and had been employed at Draper and Kramer since 1984. Prior to joining D&K John was with Harold J. Carlson Associates, JMB Reality and the Equitable Life Assurance Society. John was an active member of the international Council of Shopping Center and even taught at the ICSC. He had several articles published by The Carlson Report, The Jones Report and The Journal of Property Management. John was a Certified Property Manager from IREM and an active member of the Chicagoland Association of Shopping Center Owners. He had an MBA from Dominican University in River Forest, IL and a BA degree from Iona in New Rochelle, NY. IN all aspects of his personal and professional life, John could be counted on for his generosity and for recognizing the needs and happiness of others. Each of use who knew John had countless memories of how he would make you laugh and smile with his great sense of humor, but he also would encourage us to rise to our potential and find successful solutions to even the most challenging situations. John was an extremely proud, ethical and moral man, had a passion for architecture and for the City of Chicago, and was dedicated volunteer at Old St. Pat’s Catholic Church. All who were blessed with his friendship knew John to have an extraordinary devotion to his three daughters, Katie, Molly and Maggie. We are each a better person because of John and we will miss him dearly.
