Vice President, Portfolio Management
Edward Colin Volz serves as a Vice President of Portfolio Management at Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, overseeing the performance and strategic growth of the firm’s open-ended fund. Colin works closely with the Chief Investment Officer to develop and execute strategies that maximize value and risk-adjusted returns. His responsibilities include managing portfolio performance, supervising fund operations, analyzing market opportunities, and directing asset management and accounting initiatives. Additionally, Colin leads efforts to enhance property performance, structure complex transactions, and ensure compliance with investment parameters.
Colin first joined Draper and Kramer in 2007 as an analyst, underwriting debt and equity transactions in the Commercial Finance Group, and, in 2018, was named to his current role.
A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and member of the Urban Land Institute, Colin holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
