Executive Vice President
Anthony F. (Tony) Kramer is executive vice president at Draper and Kramer and the grandson of Draper and Kramer co-founder Adolf Kramer. Tony joined the firm in 1967 and is a licensed real estate managing broker and licensed insurance broker who has been engaged in a number of key Draper and Kramer operations including residential and commercial management and mortgage production. Additionally, Tony is the president of Santiago-based Draper and Kramer Chile, Ltd., and is chairman of the board of Draper and Kramer Condominios SA and Gente Gestion, Inmobilarias SA.
Tony holds a Master’s degree in city planning from Harvard University. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He is a director and former chairman of the Near South Planning Board in Chicago and a member of Lambda Alpha International Land Economics Society, the Chicago Crime Commission, the University Club and the Chicago Yacht Club.
Tony has chaired or served as director for a number of corporate and civic boards, including the Dearborn Park Corporation; Chicago Mortgage Bankers Association; Chicago Development Council; Duncan YMCA; Woodstock Site Plan Commission; Slough, USA; Tipperary Corporation, Denver; Chapman Energy, Houston; and School Districts 86 and 180 in Hinsdale, Illinois, where he established and chaired the Foundation for Excellence.
As a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security and a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Tony was a line officer in the United States Navy. He supports state-of-the-art healthcare for people living in developing countries through Partners in Health, and impoverished children in the Andes regions of Venezuela and Colombia through Andean Aid.
