Chief Investment Officer

Blas Puzon is chief investment officer of Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, responsible for all portfolio management and investment functions including acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and property management. He joined Draper and Kramer in January 2018 as senior vice president of acquisitions, and has since led the strategic expansion of the company’s portfolio through property acquisitions including North 680, a 180-unit luxury rental community in Schaumburg, Ill., and Burnham Point, a 298-unit rental property in Chicago’s Printers Row neighborhood.

Puzon came to Draper and Kramer with more than 15 years of experience in driving portfolio value and growth. Before joining the firm, he was senior vice president of capital transactions for the Pinnacle Family of Companies in Seattle. While at Pinnacle, Puzon oversaw the firm’s affiliated investment company, Olympic Investors, a role in which he led the acquisition and investment management of 35 properties comprising approximately 10,000 units and valued at over $1 billion.

Puzon holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA in finance and real estate from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of National Multifamily Housing Council and Urban Land Institute.
