Vice President, Investment Management
Kathryn Jorgensen joined Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, in 2020, as vice president, investment management. In this role, she is responsible for asset management, acquisition and disposition functions for part of the firm’s multifamily portfolio that spans Chicago, St. Louis and Dallas, focused on improving and monitoring the performance of the portfolio throughout each asset’s lifecycle. This include managing large-scale renovations, retail leasing and new service rollouts.
Prior to joining Draper and Kramer, Kathryn gained operational experience in the commercial real estate industry through commercial retail, light industrial and student housing assets, including leasing, property management and contract administration. To date, she has been involved in the successful closing of more than $500 million of core, value-add and opportunistic investments.
Kathryn has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wheaton College, and earned an MBA from Darden School of Business at University of Virginia. She serves on committees with the Near South Planning Board and is an active member of the Chicago chapter of the Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF).
