Draper and Kramer’s relationship with the Federal Housing Administration is as old as the agency itself.
In 1937, Draper and Kramer was issued the first HUD license and became the first approved lender for Federal Housing Authority loans and mortgage insurance programs. For more than 80 years, Draper and Kramer has been a leader in FHA financing for new construction, rehabilitation, acquisition, and refinancing for apartments, senior housing, skilled care nursing facilities and assisted living facilities.
In addition to our lending platform, Draper and Kramer is a developer, owner and manager of FHA-insured and conventionally financed apartment projects. We have been in your shoes and are uniquely qualified to guide you through the process of government-insured financing.
Since 2010, Draper and Kramer has closed approximately 265 loans totaling $3 billion of market rate, affordable and mixed income transactions. We are consistently one of the largest active lenders through HUD’s Chicago Office.
