128-unit Luxury Apartment Building proposed in River North
Draper and Kramer has proposed a new construction, 128-unit transit-oriented development at 330 W. Chestnut in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The project would replace a vacant lot next to the elevated CTA rail tracks.
Offering a contemporary take on traditional warehouse architecture of the early 1900s, the design is intended to complement the diverse architectural styles that are found in the surrounding neighborhood. 330 W. Chestnut will offer of mix of convertible through two-bedroom units and a full suite of hospitality-style amenities, including a co-working space, fitness studio, resident lounge and a landscaped sky terrace. There will also be an enclosed parking garage for 14 vehicles.
330 W. Chestnut is located close to a number of neighborhood amenities, including dozens of restaurants & cafes, the popular Rush & Oak Street entertainment and shopping district, new flagship Whole Foods Market and Lifetime Fitness Resort locations and enjoys convenient access to the nearby CTA Brown/Purple Line (Chicago Ave station). It is also near Washington Square Park and walking distance to Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.
