CHICAGO - (November 12, 2020)

We are proud to announce Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, was recognized by the 2020 Multi-Housing News Excellence Awards in two categories.

In the category of Best Development & Design: Mid-Rise, we received bronze honors for 61 Banks Street, our boutique luxury rental community that opened in 2019 on the last undeveloped site along Lake Shore Drive in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. The building was recognized for evoking the timeless appeal and classic elegance of the Gold Coast through its architecture, interiors and amenities, while also bringing a modern luxury rental experience to this iconic section of Chicago’s lakefront.

Additionally, Draper and Kramer’s own Kelli Stuart received gold honors in the category of Property Manager of the Year for her work as property manager at 61 Banks Street. Kelli played a critical role in the building’s success, ushering it through pre-leasing during construction, first move-ins and its initial months of occupancy. Through her efforts, 61 Banks Street surpassed its lease-up goals and quickly earned a reputation for the refined residential experience it offers.
