Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, a full-service national real estate firm, is proud to announce Anna Javellana, property manager at Southfork Townhomes in Lakeville, Minn., was named Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) of the Year by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Minnesota Chapter 45. The award was presented to Javellana at Chapter 45’s annual member appreciation celebration, held Nov. 9 in Eden Prairie, Minn.
“ARM of the Year is all the more meaningful because recipients are nominated and selected for the award by leadership of their individual IREM chapter,” said Deanne Logan, regional property manager for Chicago-based Draper and Kramer. “Every day, Anna exemplifies excellence in property management through her work at Southfork, whether through her caring approach to customer service or her attention to every detail of the property’s operations. We’re thrilled her peers in the industry have recognized her for the same leadership, dedication and hard work that make her such a valuable team member at Draper and Kramer.”
ARM certification through IREM signifies an individual has met requirements set by the organization for residential management experience and education; passed the ARM certification exam; completed IREM ethics education; and pledged to uphold the IREM Code of Professional Ethics. “The ARM designation essentially signifies a commitment to superior management, and so to be named one of the leading ARMs is a true honor for Anna,” noted Logan.
In her role as property manager of Southfork Townhomes, Javellana oversees 272 rental townhome units in a community that features a natural, wooded setting and extensive on-site amenities, including an oversized outdoor pool and a recently renovated clubhouse where the management team frequently hosts exclusive resident events. Under her management, the community has experienced increases in average occupancy, lease renewal rates, SatisFacts resident survey scores and Apartment Ratings scores.
A graduate of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, Javellana joined Draper and Kramer in 2014 and has more than six years of experience in property management and leasing. She is an active member of IREM Chapter 45, currently serving as co-chair of the chapter’s social committee.
