CHICAGO - (August 26, 2022)

Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, a national full-service real estate firm, is pleased to announce that Tasha Rush, property manager at the company’s Aspire Residences, has been named a finalist for the Institute of Real Estate Management’s Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) of the Year award. The winner of the national honor, which recognizes Accredited Residential Managers who have made valuable contributions to the residential real estate management profession, will be named during IREM’s Global Summit taking place October 20 in Dallas.

Rush joined Draper and Kramer earlier this summer and oversees day-to-day management at Aspire, a 24-story, 275-unit rental tower at 2111 S. Wabash Ave. that opened in 2020 in Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood.

“At Draper and Kramer, we pride ourselves on being industry leaders through our involvement with important organizations like IREM, so it is wonderful to know that Tasha, as one of our newest team members, shares our commitment to IREM and the guiding industry principles it represents,” said Julie Stevlingson, senior vice president and director of management services at Draper and Kramer. “We congratulate Tasha on being named a finalist for this prestigious award, which reflects the industry knowledge, skills and leadership she is already contributing in her new role with us at Aspire.”

Before joining Draper and Kramer, Rush spent six years as assistant property manager at Greenleaf Apartments, a subsidized senior housing community in Bolingbrook, Ill. Her involvement with IREM includes serving as a member of the organization’s national board of directors, where she is chair of the DEI Committee, and also chairing the Social Media Committee for IREM’s Chicago chapter.

Rush, a graduate of Columbia College, is currently pursuing her Certified Property Manager designation through IREM. She holds several other designations from the National Center for Housing Management, including Certified Occupancy Specialist, Management Occupancy Review Specialist, Enterprise Income Verification Specialist and Certified Manager of Senior Housing.
