CHICAGO - (January 18, 2016)

Draper and Kramer, Incorporated (“D&K”) today announced that its corporate office will move from 33 W. Monroe to 55 E. Monroe, centrally located within the Loop of downtown Chicago. The 122-year old real estate property and financial services firm will occupy the 39th floor with over 200 corporate employees.

“We are very excited about this transition, and are working with Gensler to create a space that will expand with our future,” said Forrest Bailey, president and CEO of Draper and Kramer. “As we plan for the growth of Draper and Kramer, we are considering not only our presence within the industry and the community, but we are also taking into account the needs of our employees.”

“This move will reflect Draper and Kramer’s evolution as an organization that is diversifying and updating,” said Cary Johnson, senior associate at Gensler. “The new design puts employees first as it pertains to workplace, amenities, and access to light and views. Incorporating upbeat and collaborative spaces that are fully enabled technologically, the new location is ideal for today and will allow the company to progress into the future.”

“We are creating a contemporary, open floor plan with 360-degree views to promote inspired interactions,” Bailey added. “Our new space will simultaneously reflect the proud history and the positive momentum of Draper and Kramer.”

The 39,000 square foot space is currently undergoing renovation for Draper & Kramer’s July 2016 occupancy.
